Don't take delivery of a defective new car! Book a professional Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) service in ECIL & Kushaiguda with The Detailing Don. We catch dealership flaws before you sign.
Your New Car Deserves a Flawless Start. Don't Sign Without a Professional PDI!
Buying a new car is a milestone, but "brand new" doesn't always mean perfect. Dealership storage, long transit windows, and rushed washing can leave your pristine car with hidden factory defects, paint damage, or mechanical issues.
Once you sign the registration papers and drive out of the showroom, the dealership is no longer responsible for pre-existing aesthetic and minor functional flaws. The Detailing Don’t Expert PDI Service gives you total peace of mind by thoroughly inspecting your vehicle before you officially take ownership.
Dealerships often rush their internal PDI checklists. At The Detailing Don Car Detailing & Car Decors, we approach your inspection with a detailing-focused eye and professional precision.
-
Unbiased, Third-Party Experts: We work exclusively for you, not the dealership. We have no interest in hiding flaws.
-
Detailing-Grade Paint & Surface Scans: Our professionals use specialized lighting to detect paint touch-ups, transit scratches, panel misalignments, and hidden buffet trails.
-
Comprehensive Checklist: We evaluate everything from electronics and interior fitment to manufacturing defects that an untrained eye will miss.
-
Leverage for Immediate Fixes: If we uncover an issue, you can demand the dealership repair it, offer a discount, or assign you a different vehicle before registration papers are filed.
Our Exhaustive 4-Step PDI Checklist
🔍 1. Exterior Body & Paint Audit
• Paint Integrity Scan: We check for hidden scratches, swirl marks, bird-dropping etching, or showroom transit repaints.
• Panel Gap Verification: Ensuring absolute symmetry across doors, the hood, and the boot to rule out assembly flaws.
• Glass & Trim Inspection: Checking all windows, windshields, side mirrors, and rubber beadings for micro-cracks or premature fading.
🔌 2. Electronics & Interior Fitment Check
• Infotainment & Audio System: Comprehensive testing of touchscreens, instrument clusters, speakers, and reverse camera alignment.
• Cabin Controls: Evaluating air conditioning performance, power window operations, and interior ambient lighting features.
• Upholstery & Fitment: Checking seats, dashboards, door pads, and roof linings for stains, structural tears, or loose plastic panels.
⚙️ 3. Engine Bay & Mechanical Inspection
• Fluid Level Audits: Verifying optimal engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and wiper fluid levels right out of the factory.
• Leakage Scan: Thoroughly checking the engine block and hose connections for any signs of transit fluid leaks.
• Battery Health Diagnosis: Testing the structural charge and terminal connections of your new battery.
🛞 4. Wheels, Tyres, & Underbody Review
• Tyre Inspection: Verifying production dates (manufacturing week tags) to ensure you aren't given old stock, along with checking stepney and tool kit presence.
• Alloy Protection: Looking for rim scrapes or scratches sustained during transport offloading.
